Project Updates

GLASSBORO-CAMDEN LINE

July, 2014 Project Update:

July 15 2014

The GCL Project Team continues to work with the Federal Transit Administration and other governmental agencies to complete environmental studies and prepare the Draft Environmental Impact Statement (DEIS).  Coordination with the municipalities along the study corridor also continues.  As a result, the original June 2014 publication date for the DEIS is now anticipated for later this year.  This change in schedule will have no impact on the 45-day Agency and Public Review and Comment period that follows the publication of the DEIS.  At least three weeks’ notice will be given from the announcement of the availability of the DEIS to the first public hearing.  Comments can be made in person at Public Hearings or through the project website any time during the 45-day comment period.  Periodic updates on our progress in preparing the DEIS will be posted on this project website.  If you have not done so already, please use the “Contact Us” link above to subscribe for automatic project updates.
