Public Meeting for the Glassboro-Camden Line Draft Environmental Impact Statement

The Glassboro-Camden Line Project Team will hold a public informational meeting on Monday, May 20, 2013 at the Woodbury Jr/Sr High School located at 25 North Broad Street, Woodbury, NJ 08096.  The purpose of the public meeting is to review the outcome of the public scoping meetings which were held by the Glassboro-Camden Line Team in the Spring of 2010. The meeting will have no formal program, and attendees may arrive at any time during the meeting hours to view project display boards.  The meeting will take place between 6:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m.

GCL Project Progress 2013

March 18 2013

STV is in the process of coordinating and planning the key activities for this phase. It is anticipated that this phase will take 18-24 months for completion. NJ TRANSIT is funding the $8.1 million environmental study with DRPA acting as project manager.

GCL Project Progress 2012

The project continues to move forward. NJ TRANSIT and DRPA, through a competitive process, entered into a contract with STV, Incorporated, a full service engineering firm, for the Environmental Impact Statement (EIS)/Conceptual Engineering Phase (December 2012).

Scoping Comment Period Has Concluded

June 11 2010

The Scoping Comment Period has concluded as of 11:59:59 pm on June 10, 2010. The GCL Project Team would like to thank everyone for their written and verbal comments. Once all comments are reviewed and addressed the GCL Project Team will move forward with wrapping up the Final Scoping Document.
