January 11 2021
The 45-day public comment period on the Draft EIS began on November 2, 2020 and ended at 11:59 p.m. Eastern Time, on December 17, 2020. As part of the EIS public participation process, the Glassboro-Camden Line (GCL) Project Team held two (2) virtual public hearings via Zoom. Interested parties were able to provide and listen to oral comments concerning the Proposed Action and information contained in the Draft EIS. The public hearings occurred on:
- Tuesday, November 17, 2020 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
- Thursday, November 19, 2020 from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
A video recording of the presentation provided at the Public Hearings is available here.
A section of the project website (DRAFT EIS OVERVIEW) was created to assist individuals in providing information and resources on the Draft EIS, including how to access the Draft EIS document, and methods on how the public can provide comments on the Draft EIS to the Project Team.
The public comment period for the Draft EIS (DEIS) has ended. Comments received during the 45-day comment period are being reviewed by the project team and used to inform the Final EIS (FEIS). All comments received during this period and their responses will be published as part of the FEIS. Comments submitted outside of the designated DEIS comment period are not eligible for consideration and publication in the FEIS. The FEIS will be available for downloading once it has been completed.
